Dr. Muhammad Aamir Basheer is an urban planner and assistant professor at the Department Architecture and City Design, Kind Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He has a Ph.D. in Urbanism and Spatial Planning from Ghent University, Belgium. His research areas mainly focus on mode choice behavior, road safety, smart cities, transit-oriented development, sustainable and inclusive urban development.
