The model shop is a place for students to explore, prototype, and design-think through making. It provides students the opportunity to transform their projects or ideas and concepts into physical representations. The model shop has digital and fabrication equipment as well as free access to model-making materials, e.g., balsa wood, cardboard, and foam sheets. The analog fabrication equipment includes traditional woodworking tools and machinery. The digital fabrication equipment includes an (ABS and PLA) 3D printer and a laser cutting machine. The model shop is located in Building 19 (1st floor).
